Grow is a plant and a rhythm. You tap at a slow, even pace, roughly like a resting heartbeat, and a sprout climbs into a proper little tree, moving through spring, summer, autumn and winter as it goes.
The steadiness matters more than the speed. Tap evenly and the seasons roll on, and occasionally something rarer turns up in the sky if you have settled into a good rhythm. Tap unevenly and it simply grows a bit slower.
There is a guided mode that keeps the beat for you and a flow mode where you set your own. Neither one scores you, and there is no way to kill the plant. It cannot wither and I will not let it.
It is a calm idle game in shape, but it finishes. A full run takes a few minutes and ends with a grown tree, rather than running forever.
